  1. "An apparent assassination attempt" ? Clickbait, much? “The suspect never brandished the gun or threatened anyone," said the LAPD.
  2. My goodness. This nonsense again? This preposterous theory has been debunked for years. And as for putting any faith whatsoever in Tom Wilson's alleged photo processing, the fact that his work never was and never can be properly peer reviewed should say everything one needs to know.
  3. What are you talking about? Landis' story is being given PLENTY of scrutiny right now - have you failed to notice the half-dozen different threads here on the subject?
  4. On what planet are "seasoned researchers" blindly accepting Landis' story "unconditionally" ? Nothing of the sort is happening. It's also bizarre for you to make such a statement when you're the one unwilling to engage in honest debate about the authenticity of the alleged datebook at the heart of "Coup in Dallas" ...
  5. David, you're correct that Landis has never mentioned this crucial evidentiary detail until now. I suppose whether one believes his reasons for doing so will color one's opinions of the validity of his statements now.
  6. Was surprised nobody had posted the link to this story, which is detailed by Vanity Fair. Secret Service agent Paul Landis now claims he retrieved an intact bullet from the top of the rear seat of the presidential limousine in the minutes after the assassination and placed it on President Kennedy’s stretcher at Parkland Hospital.
  7. As much as I deeply respect the work of Dr. Newman, I find it very hard to believe that bumbling Watergate burglar James McCord was a Soviet spy...
  8. W, the point is that all of the ridiculous conspiracy theories outlined in my original post, plus the wall-to-wall spamming by Linda O'Hara about a datebook of dubious authenticity, frequently overshadow the excellent research presented on this forum by Larry, Joe Backes, Jeremy B., and others.
  9. This forum already borders, if not crosses well into, laughing stock territory due to its embrace of preposterous nonsense such as Lee Oswald doppelgangers, the Three Tramps being different people than their arrest records confirm they are, every film and photo taken in Dealey Plaza having been altered, and so on. It's really a shame.
  10. Isn't it a bit rich for you to be telling anybody here how they should be researching this case?
  11. Exactly what he told Cuban and Russian officials during the trip - to obtain a visa to return to the Soviet Union.
  12. I have. And the majority of reviews from actual students of the case find the book to not be credible.
  13. You're making a big deal out of a made-for-TV fake trial. Who cares what Lopez said then? Gerry is correct that the Lopez report does NOT say Oswald never visited the Cuban consulate and Mexican embassy.
  14. Because he didn't see and/or wasn't paying attention to whoever was there?
  15. Uh-huh. That must be why hardly any serious student of the Kennedy assassination believes your conclusions.
  16. It's also comical you believe the three Tramps aren't actually the men their arrest records say they are.
  17. I'm not saying it should be prohibited. It should just be moved out of the JFK Assassination forum, because the only aspect that bears even a tangential relationship to the subject is the unverified "datebook."
  18. Once again, a series of posts that have no connection whatsoever to the JFK assassination. Will the moderators please intervene?
  19. Yet another un-asked for, lengthy post from Leslie Sharp that has absolutely nothing to do with the Kennedy assassination. Will it ever stop?
  20. The Umbrella Man is a normal, everyday, non-conspirator human being named Louis Stephen Witt, and always has been.
  21. So what? Walker communicated with many people who shared his beliefs during this time. Utterly meaningless until authenticated by proper authorities.
