Reporting the facts is now "agenda driven journalism," Rob?

I'll bookmark that in my folder of Goofy GOP Euphemisms-- along with, "Wise Use," for environmental desecration, and, "Virtue Signalling," for discussing social ethics in matters of public policy...  🙄

That seemed like a pretty good guideline to follow. But I guess it went by the wayside when Trump dumped it from the NSC.

Would that be the same NSC that decided they didn't like the President's Ukraine policy?

The same NSC that has gone from a staff of 100 at 9/11 to almost 400 as of last October? Article

McMaster spent the better part of his tenure purging Flynn loyalists and trying to preserve the post 9/11 status quo.

It shouldn't be that surprising that sometimes the Intelligence infrastructure has their own agenda.

If you consider what the "pandemic" is, then throwing out the NSC "playbook" is a given.

There are plenty of arguments out there that make the case this is man made.

If that's the case, then does the NSC Playbook have any relevance?

As I previously posted. The January 31, EO restricted flights from China.

February 4, the WHO said it was not necessary and the MSM lined up to scream "racist."

When Biden bows out and Cuomo takes the reigns, it will make more sense.

Are we using this thread now to talk trash, etc., instead of the Mark Zaid thread?

I'm OK with letting it die, and its easier to just use this one.

RIP Mark Zaid, may all of your Disney Dreams come true under tighter scrutiny.

Things to do in Denver when you're not dead yet?

I've been watching Season 3 of Babylon Berlin on Netflix this week.

It's a terrific series produced by Sky Television-- a detective thriller set in Berlin in 1929, with complex subplots involving floundering Weimar Republic politicians, wealthy industrialists, scheming generals, racketeers, cabaret flappers, beleaguered socialists, and Nazi SA thugs.

Somewhat similar to the great film, Cabaret, but more complex and realistic.

In Hollywood productions, Germans are stereotypically depicted as either hideously ugly, misanthropic Nazi colonels, or mad scientists.

But, in German films the actors always look like people from my old high school in Denver.  The main character in Babylon Berlin, Gereon Rath, looks eerily like my late father looked when he was 40.

US diplomats involved in trafficking of human blood and pathogens for secret military program

The US Embassy to Tbilisi transports frozen human blood and pathogens as diplomatic cargo for a secret US military program. Internal documents, implicating US diplomats in the transportation of and experimenting on pathogens under diplomatic cover were leaked to me by Georgian insiders. According to these documents, Pentagon scientists have been deployed to the Republic of Georgia and have been given diplomatic immunity to research deadly diseases and biting insects at the Lugar Center – the Pentagon biolaboratory in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi.

This military facility is just one of the many Pentagon biolaboratories in 25 countries across the world. They are funded by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) under a $ 2.1 billion military program – Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP), and are located in former Soviet Union countries such as Georgia and Ukraine, the Middle East, South East Asia and Africa.

Geez Bob, or Mr Wheeler or Robert:

All I said was that seemed like a good guidebook. And that Trump removed that aspect from the NSC level.  I could also add that he reduced the budget.

These are all true.

Then you start talking about Mark Zaid, which this thread is not based on, and how its manmade, which we really do not know yet do we?

And then you say dump the thread?

Wow.

I think your thread's being hijacked.  I read the local, state and national news this morning.  We are Number 1 now in terms of cases, I guess everybody saw that.  Kept checking email and the phone for missed messages from work as I'm 'working from home'.  Nothing.   Went outside and weed eated and mowed late afternoon.  Weeds, not grass are going wild after much rain lately, in March.  Came back in to an email about training to mentor students transitioning  to on line learning.  Which i know nothing about, my main activity is purchasing.  Using technology I've never heard of.  I suppose I should embrace it as something to do, if I want to hang on for that increasingly elusive thing called retirement, should I survive another year.

A little later tonight I'm gong to watch Peyton Manning and the Broncos beat Tom Brady and the Patriots in the 2015 season AFC championship on their way to winning the Superbowl.  For free on the NFL network for the next two months as a result of the corona virus.  It's been long enough I don't remember the details of the game and it's better than the news.

In the context of the Mueller debacle, and the impeachment farce, is it really all that reliable? Do administration personnel occasionally have ulterior motives, especially in the Intelligence Departments?

I said let the Zaid thread die, it is easier to just check this thread for witty banter, than have two threads. The main subjects there have lost their momentum, don't you agree?

which we really do not know yet do we?

Sure we do. There is an "S" version for spreadable and an "L" version for lethal.

After the aforementioned Mueller debacle and impeachment farce, they moved on to plan "P", for "Pandemic Panic."

Watch Biden drop out and Cuomo step in. That's the whole point. The NYC media is already talking about it.

Read it again, or read what I just wrote.

There is a lot of information out there. It's all public. It's not on MSN, or Politico.

Do you know what JFK's and RFK's grand kids and the two mystery kids are singing about?

Nobody here asks what, or why, in the middle of the "pandemic" of the century, they put a music collage together. (RFK Jr. has a new one too. A violinist plays a few chords of the theme from Titanic. It's on Instagram, which I don't do.)

I'm having fun here Jim. Don't worry about the Pandemic. 2 more weeks max. Then everything goes back to normal for most people, although with a much different perspective, in a good way.

I’m guessing the NSC didn’t have a plan for checking if finely powdered glass in e-cigarette juice looks just like a severe viral infection under a chest x-Ray. Weird how most young adults can ride out covid 19 for a few days and the fully recover, but every once in a while a 26 year old drops dead.

There are some pretty evil, and now desperate, people out there.

De Blasios uncle Donald Wilhelm had to know Helms while they were both in Iran. Helms and the Shah seemed very chummy and uncle Don was ghost writing the Shahs memoirs (published ‘61.)

Doesn't that make anyone go hmmmmm... when they see Mayor de Blassio scream on TV that the City needs more Napalm or 1000 refrigerated trucks for the dead bodies that are supposed to start stacking up any day?
