  1. Like his Lancer presentation last November, JC has written a great article demolishing the prosecutions evidence against LHO. I'm no expert on U.S. Post Office regulations and processes with regards to the Mail Order 10:30 time stamp and the discrepancy with Oswald being at work at JCS at that time. Maybe someone can explain that to me.
  2. I accept that "There are more things under heaven and earth Horatio".......but I'm with you Andrew.
  3. Phil Ochs, live in Montreal, on October 22, 1966... And another interesting introduction: "You're under arrest, lock the doors...(laugh)...it worked...(laugh)... -long pause- (tuning) "As you know, I'm a folk singer for the F.B.I..." -longer pause- (more tuning) "Here's a song, about the Kennedy assassination called The Crucifixion..." Ochs also wrote & recorded 'That was the President' on the topic of the JFK assassination.
  4. Ron, Yeah you're correct. The Rand defector was Robert E. Webster who went into the cold just weeks before LHO. 'The Other Oswald' published last year & written by Gary Hill. An address in Marina's notebook under the name of Lev Prizentsev in Leningrad was that of Webster!
  5. .Cheers Doug, I had an idea you might supply some info on this topic.
  6. There was a programme on UK tv last night on UFO's. (As an amateur astronomer I'm somewhat ambivalent with this topic.) It began with the WWII Foo Fighter sightings in Europe, followed by the saucer controversies in U.S. & the secret Security State handling of the controversial happenings of San Francisco & Roswell etc. The programme documented the White House involvements of Roosevelt, Truman, Ike & onto JFK. My attention to this broadcast was more focussed with JFK. I think this thread from last year covers the same track that my tv prog was covering. Namely:-this partly burned 9 page memo purportedly authored by Jim Angleton dated November 12th 1963, which states "Lancer has made enquiries into highly classified MJ12 info which cannot be allowed." The added concern was JFK was wishing to share NASA technology with Soviets along with data on UFO's. Throughout there were inputs from various UFO researchers, one an author whose name I didn't catch who published a book 'UFO's and the National Security State' + someone who proposed that the memo was the real deal having analysed the paper and ink employed. The text also included euphemistic comments indicating getting rid of JFK. Q1. As per Cory's post above, what is the consensus of this MJ12/CIA link? Q2. Does the full or partial text exist anywhere?
  7. I think Fidel was quicker on the ball than de Gaulle. His broadcast to the Cuban people on the 23rd November '63 was very sharp. Kennedys And King - Fidel Castro's First Speech on the JFK Assassination, 11/23/1963
  8. Ron, These Zoom seminars are usually recorded and then put up on DPUK's website. I'm sure after Larry's presentation there will be a Q & A. The Zoom invite only goes to DPUK members so if you want to be included you have to join...details on the website. We do have members Stateside.
  9. Better late than never....Amazon UK finally has TP on site. My copy was delivered in just 48hrs. Larry is lined up to give a talk to DPUK next month (19th June) so I have plenty of time to study this book.
  10. Very interesting book. I got a signed copy from Dr. Marcades. For me, Rose's statement to Fruge that Ruby & Oswald knew each other & were 'bedfellows' was one of the most profound of her revelations. I asked J. Gary Shaw during a recent DPUK Zoom seminar what he thought of Cherami's disclosure & he was certain it was true, although with the proviso of 'which Oswald'.
  11. Wasn't the bullet behind JFK's right ear mentioned in this Belmont memo supposedly collected in the Bethesda morgue by a Navy Cpt.,David P. Osborne, who stated that he worked on Kennedy's head wounds? Another disappearing bullet along with the one collected by the FBI man with Deputy Sheriff Buddy Walthers on the south side of Elm on 11/22/63.
  12. Not sure if this has been pointed out on this thread, but the photograph on Zimmy's MMF release is the same one from the Warren Report.
  13. $10! Amazon U.K. prices start at £30 & more than double that price for new hardback.
  14. Cheers James! D.P.U.K. had a meeting on Zoom yesterday & I put the info to our members. My letter will be in the post tomorrow...it's the least I can do. Thanks to Lisa for the e-mail notification on this matter.
  15. Jeff Morley has organised a petition on JFKFacts and requested people to write in with support for release of files/docs etc.
  16. I have been informed that due to Covid, Sirhan's March 2021 parole hearing has had a short delay. Therefore supporters of this man have an opportunity to send a letter of support for his release. Letters should be sent to:- Board of Parole Hearings, 1515 K St., Sacremento, CA 95814. Please DO NOT write of any conspiracy in his case, but letters can include the fact that he was only 24 years old in 1968, and Californian legislation has since been passed that asks for leniency for people under 26 at the time of their lifetime conviction. It can be stated that Sirhan has a clean record over the many years of his incarceration. It can also be stated that he has a brother still alive and a home waiting for him. He is now in his mid-seventies, it would be a humanitarian act to allow him his remaining years to live with his brother.
  17. Lawrence, The original manuscript, according to Wiki, is held at Wesleyan University...but has extremely restricted access.
  18. In addition to above, I believe HSCA further investigated these Cubans, and the name of Julio Cesar Fernandes Jr. may relate to this. Escalante lists the name in an Appendix in his 'JFK:The Cuba Files'. Gaeton Fonzi also has information on Fernandes in 'The Last Investigation' linking him with Oswald in N.O. Any info on this too appreciated.
  19. The case of Mrs. L.E. Hoover from the very small town of Martinsburg in central Pennsylvania. She had found a piece of paper a week before the assassination with the names "Lee Oswald" "Jack Rubenstein" "Ruby" and "Silver Slipper". The reference to "Silver Slipper" may not be the Ruby owned nightclub, but the one in Las Vegas later known for money laundering between organized crime and CIA. Mrs Hoover believed that the paper had accidentally come out of a trash can that belonged to a Cuban family with high level connections to the Batista government in Cuba. The FBI climbed all over her and threatened her, but she stuck to her story and demanded to take a lie detector test -- which the FBI, for once, was not willing to do. Researcher Gary Schoener traced Mrs Hoover who had also filched a plane ticket to Vegas and a ticket for the Silver Slipper club out of the Cuban neighbours trash. J. Edgar would be proud. Schoener took these items to N.O. for Garrison's investigation. Unfortunately they disappeared from the D.A.'s safe. There is no Mrs Hoover in any book index that I have on Garrison. Has anyone any information on Mrs Hoover?
  20. No problem Ron. I transcribed Jenkins' Lancer presentation which I sent to William Law when he and Jim J. were putting together their book, 'At the Cold Shoulder of History' (2018). As for my own thoughts on Jenkins' memoir, & the points raised by Joe in his post above....many points are as 'mushy' as JFK's brain. I also concur with Micah above that there are many additions in that presentation that were not disclosed in earlier interviews with DSL decades before, and I seem to recall Mr Lifton expressing those opinions in previous posts on this Forum. It would be great if DSL came back into this thread at this point to give his opinions on the many discrepancies of testimonies.
