The inevitable end result of our last 56 years

It's moving day at the White House.

Reuters photographer Erin Scott captured a truckload of unfolded boxes arriving at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building next to the White House, presumably to be filled with stuff as Trump staffers make their exists:

A Brief History of Donald J. Trump State Park

By Eric Goldschein May 8, 2017

https://www.outsideonline.com/2181686/brief-history-donald-j-trump-state-park

“Just 45 miles north of Trump Tower in New York City lies a dagger-shaped swath of land dominated by thick brush and brambles almost indistinguishable from other forested areas of upstate New York. It’s lush and green in summer, barren and brown in winter, dotted red and pink by occasional apple trees or dogwoods. There’s little unique or notable about it, except its name: Donald J. Trump State Park.

The park is a short ride away from a popular state park named for another New Yorker-turned-president, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Not surprisingly, it was originally supposed to be another Trump golf course. But Trump donated the land to New York State over a decade ago—an act of philanthropy doubling as a tax write-off. Since then, the park hasn’t just gone undeveloped—it’s practically rotting.

Follow signs promoting the park, as a tourist might, and you’ll find an overgrown, unmanaged piece of property: a barely paved road seems to lead nowhere; asbestos-filled buildings covered in graffiti are crumbling; parking lots are overrun with weeds. There are no staff or amenities, no trails or campsites. It is a park in name only.”

How the Senate Could Speed Up the Impeachment Trial

Senators could borrow a trick from civil cases to shorten the trial.

By RONALD KROTOSZYNSKI 01/13/2021

https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2021/01/13/senate-impeachment-trial-biden-presidency-shorten-459052

“In an ideal world, McConnell would call the Senate back into session as soon as possible, but according to recent news reports, the Senate is not likely to reconvene until a day before Biden’s inauguration. At the post-inauguration trial, then, a member of the Senate, presumably Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, would move for summary judgment by suspending the regular impeachment trial rules. The motion could provide that the Senate would hear a few hours of legal arguments from the House managers and Trump’s lawyers, followed by an opportunity for senators to put questions to them, with a vote on the motion for summary judgment to take place after the allotted time for legal arguments. If the motion permitted a few hours to both legal teams, and a few hours for senators’ questions, the entire process could take place in the course of a day or two, rather over two or more weeks.”

But this brings up something interesting.  I found out something I didn't know. A vote to convict in the Senate needs 2/3 vote of those that are present! Meaning if 20 Republicans  didn't show up, for whatever reason,  a 2/3rds majority would require only 54 votes!, which the pro impeachment forces already have!

If 10 Republican Senators didn't show up, the 2/3 majority would require 60 votes. Given Mac Connell seems ready if the wind is blowing in his direction, getting 5 more Republicans is not beyond the realm of possibility at all!

Plus, barring him from running again after conviction only takes a simple majority vote of senators present.

I hope General Services keeps an eye out for DJTrump lifting whatever he likes from our "People's House" to take back to his gold gilded bathroom residences. Like he did from our French Embassy.

A close friend posted this on Facebook yesterday:

So apparently Trump supporters are now somehow shocked that he stabbed them in the back even though he has decades of doing it to everyone around him.
Equally angry was user ConfiscateTheCoats, who wrote on the forum: “F*** Donald Trump. This f***ing piece of s*** dragged us into DC for what? To leave us holding the bag? What the f***.”
Their sentiments were shared by many others, including bck-, who commented: “Wow, what an absolute punch in the gut.”
“He says it’s going to be wild, and when it gets wild, he calls it a heinous attack and middle fingers to his supporters that he told to be there. Unbelievable.”
Another user, named Toughsky_Shitsky, said: “Thousands exerted time, money, and emotion on his request to travel to DC and let their voices be heard in support of fair elections and in support of Trump… only to get a rusty sheave [shiv] in the back when they act like free people in a free nation.”

Trump supporter who brought Confederate flag into Capitol arrested in Delaware

“Kevin Seefried was arrested after being wanted by the FBI, which circulated images of him in a campaign to have the public help identify those who breached the Capitol.”

Now there's a case for the Sedition Law.

This montage of GOP leaders urging the public onward to violent confrontation is pretty good stuff I think.  It shows the outside or external torque to January 6th.  And note how. many direct members of the Trump family are involved.

With what we now know about the inside element, those representatives who were showing the thugs around before the attack, its a pretty good case for a grand conspiracy.  I just hope the FBI does not just settle for the low end. Merrick Garland should push it all the way.

Outstanding!

No holding back from the raw and obvious truth.

After all, after the main power Trump backers driven 1% wealth and power gain agenda, it is a racial issue more than any other.

And Casino money minded Trump's biggest "Whale" has just past away - Sheldon Adelson.

Wonder what Trump and his family will do with that massive 200 million dollar "Fight The Steal" legal fund booty now that that con is over?

It's not a Coup Klux Klan until somebody drives a jacked-up monster truck up the Capitol steps and crashes into the lobby, with two Confederate flags each the size of a queen-size mattress flying from the bed.  Call me when the horn toots "Dixie."
