@Denny Zartmanthe inability of the mob to control the autopsy or the government's response to the assassination is irrelevant to the question of was the mob was behind the assassination. The question is a form of disinformation or misdirection. The mob had plenty of experience with public killings that are not traceable back to the actual players. They did not need to rely on the government becoming an accessory to the crime to pull off the assassination. Marcello (or Trafficante) knew how to carry out a murder without it leading back to them. They may have suspected that Hoover would not pursue them for a variety of reasons or the government not wanting to start digging in a direction that could expose its soliciting mafia to to kill Castro. But they were not relying on the government to go along in their planning to kill the president.

There were lots of meetings between Harvey and Roselli in 1963 before harvey was shipped off to Rome in May. he let Roselli know his funding was cut off. what do to with exiles who were trained and armed and angry. It is important to work with people on issues we can agree on and put other differences aside. If we could get Congress do hold an oversight hearing, there may be a basis to release the IRS record in the wake of the recent case allowing IRS to release Trump tax returns to congress, with respect to the Manchester tapes, the Kennedy family can authorize the release of these tapes. such authorization would render the court order moot. The time has come for the Kennedy family to step up and recognize its responsibility to history. The RFK trustee stonewalled the ARRB when it sought the JFK office tape recordings involving Cuban matters from 1963 and other papers that RFK had removed from the oval office the afternoon of the assassination .

Jim and Oliver did a great job exposing the chain of custody problems with CE399. This is not an isolated incident. All of the significant forensic evidence has enormous issues that would have either resulted in either a court possibly ruling inadmissible or more likely, giving jury instructions to use the questions about the evidence in deciding how much weight it should be given. and the eyewitness testimony was even more problematic. the testimony of two the key witnesses- Brennan and Markum would have crumbled under cross-examination.

My point is that just because there will be a documentary on Tink's book doesn't mean it will be faithful to the book. The Discovery and History channels still air inside the limo CA and the missing bullet shows which were financed by WC defenders. Yes- there is an audience for JFK assassination so these funders use the interest to continue to support the WC conclusions.

Disney might not be producing this but simply getting paid to broadcast it. For all we know, it could be a hatchet job ob Tink's book. You always have to check the credits to see who provided funding for the documentary. the source of the funding will generally influence the outcome/conclusions of the documentary. This is particularly so with JFK documentaries on the aforementioned cable stations. I am hoping, though, that this documentary will be faithful to Tink's book.

Not sanguine about JFK programs on Disney or History Channel. They tend to try to prove lone gunman theory using selective use of technology. It all depends on who will be underwriting the project.
