One has to question whether Trump's fulfilling a secret campaign pledge delayed by Covid, on which the strike on Soleimani was the down payment. With another 1,000,000 + vote results yet to come in from New York State. Biden was getting 57% of the votes in New York State up until now. Trump 41.7%. Biden's margin over Trump in the popular vote count is currently at 6,100,000. Will top off around 6.3 million when New York State sends in the rest of their tally. Even then we'd have to find some way around it, because to take it head on, it would have to be ratified by 2/3 of the state legislatures.The Republicans actually gained in the state legislatures. Trump came out for a minute news conference where he took credit yesterday for the Dow going over 30,000 even thought the chief reason for the Dow going over 30k was that Trump was letting Biden be briefed, which is perceived as a positive step to an orderly transition! Also because it is said that Biden is going to appoint Janet Yellin Treasurer, whose always been perceived as a pro market inflation "dove". (very hesitant to raise rates) She was the Fed Chief but was replaced by Trump after she interviewed to continue as Fed Chief but Trump commented that she was "too small", so he ended up appointing a taller Jerome Powell and ended up threatening to fire him. You can't make this up. This guy is such an idiot! ***** All this Iran talk. If he was to attack Iran sites, would that play well with his cult? It may sound cruel or extreme to declare a candidate mentally unfit, but we have seen the damage that can be done by electing someone as sick as Trump and it should never happen again. Sandy, I read somewhere that there isn't a provision for write-ins, which would nullify that person's vote. That's what's so weird. They're actually encouraging Republican voters to screw up their own votes, and to even boycott the election - ala Jim Wood: "Let’s speak truth about @SenLoeffler & @sendavidperdue. Why are they doing little or nothing to support efforts by GA citizens to address unlawful election & need for @BrianKempGA to order special session of legislature?” Wood tweeted. “If not fixed, I will NOT vote in GA runoff,” he continued. “Will you?” I think the crazies are actively trying to take over the Republican Party in Georgia.
