Cliff Varnell
1 hour ago, Robert Wheeler said: I may be wrong here gentlemen, but I think Covid is the cure for the Flu. CDC: Fight against COVID may help in fight against fluhttps://www.klkntv.com/cdc-fight-against-covid-may-help-in-fight-against-flu/ According to a new report, the threat of the flu season may be lowered this year because of the efforts to slow the spread of the coronavirus. “If we continue doing the right thing for COVID, we may not see flu this season,” Dr. Carlos del Rio, an Emory Infectious Disease Specialist, said. With increased mask-wearing, social distancing, and handwashing, we are protecting ourselves from COVID-19 and the flu. In fact, countries in the southern hemisphere are already seeing some positive trends.
Steve Thomas
2 More Funny Feelings About 2020 By TIM ALBERTA 10/20/2020 https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2020/10/20/alberta-two-weeks-2020-election-feelings-430238 “Generations of pollsters and journalists have fixated on the question of which candidate voters would rather have a beer with—a window into how personality translates into political success. Here’s the thing: Americans have been having a beer with Trump for the past four years—every morning, every afternoon, every evening. He has made himself more accessible than any president in history, using the White House as a performance stage and Twitter as a real-time diary for all to read. Like the drunk at the bar, he won’t shut up. Whatever appeal his unfiltered thoughts once held has now worn off. Americans are tired of having beers with Trump. His own supporters are tired of having beers with Trump. In hundreds of interviews this year with MAGA loyalists, I have noted only a handful in which the person did not, unsolicited, point to the president’s behavior as exhausting and inappropriate. Strip away all the policy fights, all the administrative action (or inaction), all the culture war politics, and the decision for many people comes down to a basic conclusion: They just do not approve of the president as a human being.” Steve Thomas
Andrew Prutsok
It's nice to have a president that's cool as a cucumber, James Dean cool. Not at all flailing like a little girl.

Steve Thomas
- Vito Corleone, er... Donald Trump - “It’s just crazy. I saw Shifty Schiff get up yesterday and say this is Russia,” Trump exclaimed, using his favorite nickname for Schiff. “He’s a sick man. He is so sick. We went through two and a half years of that, plus. This guy, he ought to be put away, or he ought to be, you know, something should happen with him.” Steve Thomas
Douglas Caddy
Trump Is Giving Up Against both the coronavirus and Joe Biden, the president’s strategy increasingly accepts defeat. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/20/opinion/trump-campaign-.html From the article: As politics, meanwhile, even more than the mixed messaging on Biden and the missed opportunities on relief spending, the retreat to corona-minimizing is a case study in how the Trump of 2020 has ceded his biggest general-election advantage from 2016 — his relative distance from the ideological rigidities of the anti-government right — and locked himself into a small box with flatterers and cranks. From these follies the God of surprises might yet deliver him. But every decision of his own lately has been a choice for political defeat. W. Niederhut
2 hours ago, Robert Wheeler said: I've got to say Niederhut, that doesn't seem like something a psychiatrist would say, especially as a joke, retired or not. Don't you find that professionals usually have the least sense of humor when it comes to jokes about their own profession? (Especially when the audience is not their professional colleagues. When a group of professionals are joking about their profession, its usually inside jokes and things they would never say to a patient or customer.) Rob, Who said that I was joking? There's nothing funny about Trump's sociopathy. On the contrary, it's dangerous and destructive for this country, and for the human race. As for the shock collar, how did Chris Wallace's repeated attempts to remind Trump of the rules in the first debate work out? Wallace kept appealing to Trump's "conscience," to respect the rules of the debate, which Trump's campaign had agreed to beforehand. It accomplished nothing, because Trump has no conscience-- no moral compass. Now, picture Trump wearing a shock collar in a debate. Do you think he would abide by the rules? My hunch is that he would start by yelling about being treated unfairly by the media, but would shut up and follow the rules after a few shocks. Kirk Gallaway
Thanks for the lead in Steve, Have you guys heard Trump has issued a "Proclamation on on National Character Counts Week, 2020" (that's right ,with 2 "on's") A fitting quote within the text below. Every opportunity to show consideration for another person is also an opportunity to build habits of kindness and strengthen our character. Our words and deeds leave imprints in our homes, schools, communities, and places of worship. Throughout this week, we recommit to being more kind, loving, understanding, and virtuous. Together, as one national family, we must serve others with giving and grateful hearts to ensureour Republic remains strong, vibrant, and a beacon of hope for future generations. https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-national-character-counts-week-2020/ I'm sure Trump is is seizing this moment of sincerity and dedicating himself to lead by his example. You can't make this stuff up.

Joe Bauer
1 hour ago, Robert Wheeler said: Did you actually watch the Video. Here (scroll down a little.) He was "cool as a cucumber." The president, while in Phoenix on Monday, was asked why his "campaign strategy seems to be to call Biden a criminal." "You're a criminal for not reporting it. Joe Biden is a criminal, and he's been a criminal for a long time, and you're a criminal in the media for not reporting it," he responded. Joe Biden's last appearance was on Sunday to buy a Milk Shake. Two Reporters asked questions. Reporter 1 “Mr. Biden! Mr. Biden! What flavor did you get,” exclaimed one reporter Sunday. “We got one vanilla, one chocolate, but I wanted to get what we call black-and-white. … We’re gonna split it,” he said while flanked by granddaughter Finnegan in Durham. Reporter 2 “I have one more question. The FBI is —,” the reporter continued before immediately being waved off by Mr. Biden. Joe Biden is a criminal. Hunter Biden sold access to Joe while Joe was V.P. and Joe took 50% of the profits. It's all in the emails that the MSM will not cover; that Twitter will not link to; that Face Book Removes and that Google hides in a search. The following us what I don't see your side appreciating. The Trump supporters and non-consumers of MSM news are very aware of Joe Biden's criminality. Most of us are very cognizant of the contents of the emails that have been released so far. As far as we are all concerned, the Chinese have everything on Biden that could possibly be had, as well as other potentially hostile states. Joe Biden is therefore 100% owned by the Chinese. If Joe Biden somehow gets elected, things are going to get very ugly. Insanity. And our main stream media won't report it as such.
